Pursuing Wholeness Through Identity in Christ: Freedom from the Shame Cycle, Creating New Neural Pathways, Developing Biblical Boundaries

Many Christian women can get stuck in shame cycles and long for wholeness in their mental health/mental illness journeys. My guest today unpacks some hope for us on the UnPerfect Podcast.
Episode #136: Pursuing Wholeness Through Identity in Christ: Freedom from the Shame Cycle, Creating New Neural Pathways, Developing Biblical Boundaries
My guest on UnPerfect today knows the struggle of living with mental illness. But she also lives in the reality of healing even as she awaits her ultimate healing.
Carla Arges is a wife, mom, mental health warrior, trauma survivor, and avid coffee drinker. She spent years broken by trauma and mental illness, barely surviving the day to day struggles of my own inner dialogue. She believed the lies of the past, the hurtful things spoken over her, and her own self- defeating thoughts. But Carla has learned how to leave her past self behind and walk in the beautiful purpose God has over her life.
And today she’s on UnPerfect, helping us replace our negative inner dialogue, walk a life of God’s truth, and reclaim who we are as Christ’s daughters.
Hang in there, sister. Hope is on the way…
