What Obedience to God Looks Like for Me: A Willing Heart + Identity in Christ

Obedience to God Identity in Christ Willing Heart

We often feel limited and question the providence of God in our lives. But my guest in this episode challenges our “stuck” thinking, encouraging us to ground our obedience to God in our God-given identity in Christ.

Episode #140: What Obedience to God Looks Like for Me: A Willing Heart + Identity in Christ

My guest on UnPerfect today knows the joy of obedience to God rooted in identity in Christ. Her life was radically changed after months and years of crying out to God, and she’s now able to live generously, choosing gratefulness to God as she pours his love into others.

Born in the village of Mbikko, Uganda, Zahara Seruyombya-McCoy grew up surrounded by both the warmth of community and the harsh realities of poverty. By the age of nine, she had lost both parents to HIV/AIDS and faced the very real threat of becoming a child bride. (Head back to episode #139 for part one of her amazing story).

As she tells us more of her story, we’ll consider what obedience to God looks like for each one of us…

Xoxo,
